Terms and Conditions: Scent Discovery, Pour Decisions or Private Events.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. This is a legal agreement between Wigenton Candle Co. and you, which governs the conditions of services rendered.

Scent Discovery, Pour Decisions or Private Events: 

Conditions: As the purchaser(s) of the Scent Discovery, Pour Decisions or Private Event, I understand it is my responsibility to acknowledge the applicable liability waiver by consenting to the terms and conditions.

*All minors below the age of 16 require adult supervision. 

**The minimum age for event participation is 6.

When Purchaser is Host: As the purchaser and host of this Scent Discovery, Pour Decisions or Private Event, I understand that it is my responsibility to inform each attendee of Scent Discovery, Pour Decisions or Private Event of Wigenton Candle Co.’s Terms and Conditions, which includes Conditions, Cancellations, and Late Policy. Waiver of Liability: Release Policy, Photo/Video consent, Photo/Video (minor) consent, Medical Attention, and Hazard Acknowledgment

As the purchaser of the Scent Discovery, Pour Decisions or Private Event, you have acknowledged that you have reviewed the entirety of our Terms and Conditions and Waiver of Liability (below for reference) and agreed to inform each attendee/guest of the terms mentioned in detail above.

Cancellations: Must be within 1 day before the event date to receive a store credit.

Late Policy: If you or your group is delayed by over 5 minutes, contact Wigenton Candle Co. at (240)-493-7348 to reschedule. Our priority is to provide a positive experience while respecting everyone's time.

Discounts: Currently discounts are applicable to Pour Decisions and Private Events, inquire about discounts for groups of 12 paid in full.

Wigenton Candle Co. Scent Bar Waiver of Liability: 

(For any of Wigenton Candle Co. LLC, classes or private events)

RELEASE/WAIVER:  I hereby agree to indemnify and hold Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, and its employees entirely free from any liability, against any claims for personal injuries or damages arising from participation (by myself, and or participating minor) in any classes, or private events. This includes financial responsibility for injuries incurred (by myself, and or participating minor) both on and off-premises of Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

PHOTO/VIDEO CONSENT:  Wigenton Candle Co., LLC  reserves the right to use photos, videos, and other media taken during classes, and other events for publicity materials and social media. Registration in candle-making classes and or private events gives Wigenton Candle Co., LLC   permission to use those images without further consent or compensation. 

PHOTO/VIDEO MINOR CONSENT: I hereby acknowledge images of the minor, captured during classes, and events through video, photo, and digital camera, may be used solely for Wigenton Candle Co., LLC promotional material and publications. Waiving compensation and ownership rights. Faces of minors will not be used in promotional materials.

MEDICAL ATTENTION:  I hereby acknowledge if an allergic reaction or skin irritation occurs (by myself, and or participating minor) from the fragrance oils and or materials exposed during or after the event, I hold harmless and release any, and all liability from Wigenton Candle Co., as well as any owners or employees of Wigenton Candle Co. for any condition or result, that may arise as a consequence of medical attention being required.

HAZARD ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: I hereby acknowledge the risk involved with melted soy wax at high temperatures up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and hot equipment like pouring pots, it is the individual's responsibility to exercise caution. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC and its employees are not liable for any injuries or damages incurred at the event or during activities. Safety measures are in place to protect participants.

ALCOHOL: IIf I am to consume alcohol, I agree that I am over the age of 21 and will drink responsibly and do so at my own risk. I affirm I have designated a driver or will call for transportation or a responsible driver in the event I am too impaired to drive. Wigenton Candle Co., will not provide alcohol; however, upon approval of management and the type of event, BYOB will be approved. Wigenton Candle Co. holds the right to ask any participant for ID before entering the premises, and if they are found under the age of 21, access will not be allowed, and a store credit for that individual will not be given. We hold the right to have such parties escorted off premise which will be handled by staff or law enforcement.

I fully understand and acknowledge that the activities offered by Wigenton Candle Co., LLC  may involve inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that may result in injury or illness (to myself and or participating minors). I hereby agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, its managers, members, and employees from any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, or otherwise, which may arise from (by myself, and or participating minor) in voluntary participation in any events or classes, resulting products from events or classes, or use of equipment provided by Wigenton Candle Co., LLC. I accept full liability for the candles and/or wax melts made (by myself, and or participating minor) during the, activities which I acknowledge.
