Sherry Steine is a Certified Yoga Therapist, Oncology Yoga Teacher, Certified Aromatherapist, and founder of SBW Aligned Expressions. She specializes in creating trauma-informed, evidence-informed wellness experiences for individuals navigating cancer, caregiving, chronic stress, and life transitions.
Sherry serves the cancer community through her work with Hope Connections for Cancer in Bethesda, Maryland, and Inova Life with Cancer, where she supports individuals and caregivers with restorative yoga and therapeutic practices that foster calm, comfort, and resilience throughout the cancer journey.
Her dedication to this work was recognized nationally when she was named a 2025 finalist for the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and Give Back Yoga Foundation Seva Award, honoring her commitment to expanding access to yoga therapy for cancer populations and underserved communities.
