Terms, Policies & Waiver of Liability

Introduction & Acknowledgment of Responsibility

Please read these Terms, Policies, and Waiver carefully. By booking or participating in Pour Decisions, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions. When booking multiple seats, the individual completing the reservation affirms that they have reviewed these terms and agree to communicate them to all guests in their party.

These Terms, Policies & Waiver supplement Wigenton Candle Co., LLC’s Master Terms & Conditions. In the event of any conflict, the Master Terms & Conditions shall govern.

Participation & Eligibility

  • The minimum age to participate is 6 years old.

  • All minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

  • Participation is voluntary and requires acknowledgment of this Waiver of Liability at booking.

Experience Overview

Pour Decisions is a guided candle-making experience where participants work with fragrance oils, heated botanical soy wax, and professional tools under staff instruction.

Participants acknowledge that:

  • Warm wax temperatures may reach up to 200°F

  • Fragrance oils are used intentionally and may cause sensitivities

  • Instructions provided by Wigenton Candle Co. staff must be followed for safety

Candle Responsibility & Use

  • Candles created during Pour Decisions™ are for personal use only.

  • Resale, duplication, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

  • All candles created during Pour Decisions™ are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.

  • Participants accept full responsibility for the care, transport, and use of candles once they leave the premises.

Candle Pickup, Storage & Abandonment Policy

In some instances, candles created during Pour Decisions™ may be left on-site to cure or for later pickup.

  • Wigenton Candle Co., LLC will hold completed candles for up to 30 days from the date of creation.

  • During this period, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the participant using the contact information provided on the scent card or at booking.

  • Participants are responsible for arranging pickup within this timeframe or requesting shipment at an additional cost, which must be paid before shipment.

Candles not picked up or shipped within 30 days will be deemed abandoned and will become the property of Wigenton Candle Co., LLC. At that point, Wigenton Candle Co. reserves the right to dispose of, donate, or repurpose the item at its discretion. No refunds or credits will be issued for abandoned candles.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made at least 7 days before the scheduled experience are eligible for 50% store credit.

  • Cancellations within 7 days, no-shows, or missed sessions are non-refundable.

  • Groups of 12 participants wishing to reschedule must do so at least one week in advance.

  • Individual rescheduling requests or groups under 12 are handled at management’s discretion.

  • To request rescheduling, contact (240) 493-7348.

Arrival Time & Experience Flow

Pour Decisions is a guided, timed candle-making experience designed to ensure that all guests receive the full experience they have reserved.

  • Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled start time.

  • Guests should arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and settling in.

  • Late arrivals will be required to reschedule to preserve the integrity and flow of the experience for all participants.

  • No refunds or credits will be issued for late arrivals or missed sessions.

Alcohol Policy (Pour Decisions)

  • For sessions beginning at or after 5:00 PM, guests of legal drinking age may consume alcohol.

  • Wigenton Candle Co., LLC does not provide alcohol.

  • BYOB permitted at or after 5:00 PM.

  • Guests must be 21+ and may be required to present a valid ID.

  • Guests appearing intoxicated may be denied participation without store credit or refund.

  • Wigenton Candle Co. reserves the right to remove guests for safety concerns.

Scent Sensitivities & Medical Acknowledgment

Participants acknowledge:

  • Fragrance sensitivities and allergic reactions vary by individual

  • Wigenton Candle Co. uses high-quality, phthalate- and paraben-free fragrance oils

  • Wigenton Candle Co., LLC is not responsible for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or conditions that may arise during or after the experience

Participants release Wigenton Candle Co., LLC from liability related to medical attention resulting from participation.

Hazard Acknowledgment & Waiver of Liability

I acknowledge the inherent risks associated with candle-making, including handling hot wax, equipment, and fragrance oils.

I agree to release, waive, discharge, defend, and indemnify Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, its owners, managers, members, and employees from any claims, liabilities, injuries, damages, or losses arising from my participation, or that of any participating minor, whether occurring on or off the premises.

Photography & Video Consent

By participating, I grant Wigenton Candle Co., LLC permission to use photographs or video recordings taken during the experience for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes without compensation.

For minors:

  • Images may be used for promotional purposes

  • Faces of minors will not be featured

Recording & Intellectual Property Protection

Pour Decisions is a guided, proprietary fragrance and candle-making experience designed and facilitated by Wigenton Candle Co., LLC.

  • Audio recording, video recording, live streaming, or instructional filming of any portion of the Pour Decisions experience is strictly prohibited.

  • This includes recording of techniques, methods, processes, instructions, fragrance blending, or staff-led demonstrations.

  • Photography for personal, non-commercial use may be permitted at designated times, provided it does not disrupt the experience or capture proprietary instruction.

All methods, processes, materials, and instructional content used during Pour Decisions are the intellectual property of Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, and may not be reproduced, distributed, taught, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

Wigenton Candle Co., LLC reserves the right to request cessation of recording, require deletion of recorded content, or remove participants from the experience without refund if this policy is violated.

This protection is in addition to the intellectual property rights outlined in Wigenton Candle Co., LLC’s Master Terms & Conditions.

Final Acknowledgment

By booking or participating in Pour Decisions, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, Policies & Waiver of Liability, and accept responsibility for informing all guests in my party.
