Terms and Conditions: Pour Decisions, or Celebration Packaged Events.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. This is a legal agreement between Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, and you, which governs the conditions of services rendered.

Pour Decisions, or Celebration Packaged Events:

Conditions: As the purchaser(s) of the Pour Decisions or Celebration Packaged Events, I understand it is my responsibility to acknowledge the applicable liability waiver by consenting to the terms and conditions.

All minors below the age of 16 require adult supervision.

The minimum age for event participation is 6.

When Purchaser is Host: As the purchaser and host of this Pour Decisions or Celebration Packaged Events, I understand that it is my responsibility to inform each attendee of Pour Decisions or Celebration Packaged Events of Wigenton Candle Co., LLC's Terms and Conditions, which include Conditions, Cancellations, and Late Policy. Waiver of Liability: Release Policy, Photo/Video Consent, Photo/Video (Minor) Consent, Medical Attention, and Hazard Acknowledgment

As the purchaser of the Pour Decisions, or Celebration Packaged Events, you have acknowledged that you have reviewed the entirety of our Terms and Conditions and Waiver of Liability (below for reference) and agreed to inform each attendee/guest of the terms mentioned in detail above.

Cancellations: To receive 50% store credit, cancellations must be made at least one week prior to the scheduled event date. This policy applies to both group and individual reservations.

Reschedule: Groups of 12 wishing to reschedule must do so at least one week before the event. This can be arranged through the reservation link or by reaching out to Wigenton Candle Co., LLC. For individuals or participants in groups smaller than 12, management will handle requests at their discretion. Please call (240) 493-7348 for assistance.

Late Policy: If you or your group are running more than five minutes late, please reach out to Wigenton Candle Co., LLC. at (240) 493-7348 to reschedule your appointment. Our goal is to ensure a positive experience while being considerate of everyone’s time.

Discounts: Currently, discounts are applicable to Pour Decisions. Inquire about discounts for groups of 12 paid in full.

Wigenton Candle Co. Scent Bar Waiver of Liability:

(For any of Wigenton Candle Co. LLC, classes, or Celebration Packaged Events)

RELEASE/WAIVER: I hereby agree to indemnify and hold Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, along with its employees, completely free from any liability related to claims for personal injuries or damages that may arise from my participation, or that of any participating minor, in classes or private events. This agreement encompasses financial responsibility for any injuries sustained, whether on or off the premises of Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, irrespective of whether such injuries result from negligence.

PHOTO/VIDEO CONSENT: Wigenton Candle Co., LLC retains the right to utilize photos, videos, and other media captured during classes and events for promotional purposes and social media. By registering for candle-making classes or private events, you grant Wigenton Candle Co., LLC permission to use these images without the need for additional consent or compensation.

PHOTO/VIDEO MINOR CONSENT: I hereby acknowledge that images of the minor, taken during classes and events using video, photography, and digital cameras, may be utilized exclusively for promotional materials and publications by Wigenton Candle Co., LLC. This includes the waiver of compensation and ownership rights. Please note that the faces of minors will not be featured in any promotional content.

MEDICAL ATTENTION: I hereby acknowledge that if I or a participating minor experiences an allergic reaction or skin irritation due to the fragrance oils or materials encountered during or after the event, I will hold Wigenton Candle Co., along with its owners and employees, harmless. I release them from any liability for any conditions or consequences that may arise, including the need for medical attention.

HAZARD ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: I acknowledge the risks associated with handling melted soy wax at high temperatures, reaching up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, as well as using hot equipment such as pouring pots. It is the responsibility of each individual to take necessary precautions. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC and its employees will not be held liable for any injuries or damages that may occur during the event or associated activities. Safety measures are implemented to ensure the protection of all participants.

ALCOHOL: If I choose to consume alcohol, I confirm that I am over the age of 21 and will drink responsibly, accepting full responsibility for my actions. I acknowledge that I have arranged for a designated driver or will secure transportation if I am too impaired to drive. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, does not provide alcohol; however, BYOB may be permitted with management's approval, depending on the event type. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC reserves the right to request identification from any participant before they enter the premises. If someone is found to be under 21, they will not be granted access, and no store credit will be issued. We also retain the right to have such individuals escorted from the premises, which may involve staff or law enforcement.

Updated Terms and Conditions/Booking Policies

Terms & Conditions for Celebration Packages

By booking a Celebration Package, I agree to the following terms:

Time Limit: I acknowledge that I will receive an extension of 30 minutes, bringing the total duration of the event to 1.5 hours. I also understand that my event will end 1.5 hours after the originally reserved time. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC will not extend the event duration due to late arrivals from myself or my guests. I recognize that my guests and I are allowed to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to prepare food and beverages. It is crucial for my guests and me to arrive on time to fully enjoy the entire hour-and-a-half experience. The event will begin no later than 5 minutes after the scheduled start time to provide sufficient time for enjoyment and necessary candle drying.

Food & Drink Policy: I acknowledge that my guests and I are permitted to bring in cupcakes and small pre-packaged snacks to enjoy. Cups and plates will be provided for our group. We are advised to refrain from bringing food items that require extra space or extended time to consume. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC will supply instructors to lead the session, but they will not be responsible for preparing or hosting food for me or my guests. Additionally, to maintain safety and cleanliness, catering services, external cooking devices, and outside tables are prohibited.

Clean-up: I acknowledge that while Wigenton Candle Co., LLC is here to assist us, my guests and I will avoid bringing confetti or any party supplies that may require extra cleanup. We must ensure that our designated food and drink area is left tidy for disposal by Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, as they are unable to handle additional cleanup for unnecessary items.

Alcohol: I acknowledge that for sessions starting at or after 5 p.m., guests of legal drinking age are permitted to enjoy alcoholic beverages. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, maintains the right to verify identification and deny service to anyone who seems intoxicated.

Photo Policy: I acknowledge that all photos submitted for the slideshow must be appropriate for a public audience. Wigenton Candle Co., LLC reserves the right to exclude any blurry images, low-resolution images, or contain inappropriate content. If necessary, Wigenton Candle Co., LLC will strive to contact me for a replacement. I understand that photos submitted after the 48-hour deadline will not be included, and my slideshow will be omitted from my event.

I fully understand and accept that the activities provided by Wigenton Candle Co., LLC may carry inherent risks, dangers, and hazards that could lead to injury or illness for myself and/or participating minors. Therefore, I agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend, and indemnify Wigenton Candle Co., LLC, along with its managers, members, and employees, from any and all claims, actions, or losses related to bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, or other issues that may arise from my voluntary participation, or that of participating minors, in any events or classes, as well as from the resulting products or the use of equipment supplied by Wigenton Candle Co., LLC. I accept full responsibility for the candles and/or wax melts created by myself and/or participating minors during these activities, which I acknowledge.
